Totally awesome man. I’m glad I commented and was able to pick up 2 t-shirts via RedIsWhite. Tell Garth I said thanks as well. WOOT!
Now just to wrap up my “better than Wallace” t-shirt design by Sunday.
Much love.
Great video. Congrats to all the winners.
I think a lot of people are scared of opportunity. They don’t like going into that world of the unknown. Fear can really hold people back from fully jumping into opportunities whether its job opportunities or just project opportunities. But I think if you embrace that fear and do as you said push forward and strive to constantly find opportunities to push through on then you can be extremely successful. Learning something new to add to your toolbox but also in learning more about yourself.
Great post as usual. Looking forward to what’s coming up next. And thanks for the link to the Design Rockstar site. That shirt is sick!
Cheers
WOW! I won some Gowalla Schwag! That’s awesome! Thanks Aaron!
I love this vidcast! You mentioned that we need to adapt and to change because our environment and our client’s needs change. That is very true. I for one was not good at WordPress and doing shopping carts, but have gotten better at it over the past few months as I have pushed myself. I noticed that a lot of my clients had needs for more than just a basic website so I forced myself to learn these skills.
Keep up the great work with the vidcasts!
I was just about to call it a night, and did a quick refresh on the twitter feed and somebody linked to your blog/vidcast. I’m glad I stayed up just a little bit longer. I like the energy and excitement you have for starting new ventures. I’m in a similar situation and every bit of advice and experience I can get helps.
Props, yo.
