This is a great post. It’s too bad you weren’t asking us now which post was our favorite.
I’ve definitely run into the situation many many times where I’ve set my expectations too high for how much the client actually knows. It’s come back to bite me in the butt. Both working within the agency life and when I was going at it as a freelancer. I still have trouble setting my expectations low enough not too get completely frustrated when someone doesn’t understand or throws the strategy and research behind the design out the window because they wanted clip art and comic sans.
AAAHHH….The joys of our business.
