So Steve Espinosa is the mysterious “friend” who gets me on board with all these quirky side projects like Twimailer, OneCss, and One-Up, besides being a pretty cool guy and the biggest Chicago White Sox fan in the world, he is an idea machine! he is constantly thinking of cool new apps, and products to make the interwebs a better, more enjoyable playground for people like us. Site Update

I talk about it briefly in the the vidcast, but I wanted to mention  it more in detail here. The re-design of TIAL is nearing completion, I am probably about 75-80% done with the design, then I need to get it into wordpress. If anyone out there has some serious wordpress chops and would like to help a brother out that would rule. (no I am not asking for free work)

So I didn’t mention this in the vidcast, but I felt like I should give some love to a couple cool sites that I was perusing this week.

First off I love to eat… who doesn’t right… as designers you gotta have snacks around while you are in the midst of working your usually head on over to OMG Hungry and write about what sounds good for lunch or for a snack, or someting totally random. David Link runs the show their so go check it out and follow him if you aren’t already.

We all know that I mention anything Heavy Metal as much as I can (sorry it has been in my blood since birth) so what is better then a site devoted to #metalfriday.  I’ll tell you whats better… Nothing. So go to this site pump your fist(not like these guys) and headbang a bit. Then follow @iheartrendering as it is his brain child.
