This site of the week this week is Fuel Your Creativity. There is a great article on their by Gavin Elliot called “Don’t stick with what you’ve been taught, you’re creative so get creative.” It is a great read, and I recommend it.
Food For Thought
Often times when things get frustrating it can become very easy to juts focus on the immediate frustration in front of us. This is when we need to step back, and look at the bigger picture and be reminded of the fact that as creatives we GET to do what we love and making a living at it.

Its funny how your topics always seems to have some relevance to my current state. It is a very true saying, “Don’t know what you have, till its gone.” On my second official day of not having a job to go to, and it’s scary as hell. I am fortunate enough to be designing some stuff at home, but none the less, even the concept of designing for anybody beats picking up some extra hours bar-backing. Much Love man, and its good to hear InfoSwell is going well. Peace!

Hey Aaron glad it was a good transition to the new job, you’re doing a awesome job building their twitter family. I hope their excited about it cause it’s great.
Thinking about what u said about getting that “spark” back. Getting excited about design. Well, I’ve had my student job for over two years…and yeah it can get a bit repetitive. But rather than try and get a new job to add some excitement…I started my blog! and im super excited about that!
So I say, if you’re feelin a bit bored at work take on something new. Outside of work. Doesn’t even have to relate to design. If it’s new and fun, it’ll definitely get you excited!
