The Human Element

Working with web design, and content creation on a consistent basis can lead to a leaning on past experiences, and information to create websites, apps, and content using our experiences and knowledge can be very helpful, and I recommended it, but I would also recommend not leaning to much on those experiences and making sure we take a fresh approach to the user we are creating for.

Please forgive my dead workspace, I am doing some more renovating in my work area…

I would love to hear your feedback on this topic

  1. This video is close to my heart. I’m so stoked other people are still down with, well, being human. I don’t know if you’ve seen Wall-E but there’s that scene from the future where all the overweight people are glued to electronic screens about 4 inches in front of their face. Oftentimes the lack of human involvement in web land reminds me of that scene. I’m glad you’re championing this idea. (Even though I am writing this while staring into a screen. Granted, it’s a good 14 inches from my face. I kinda wish I had a cool floating chair like in Wall-E, though.)

  2. Aaron,

You know me, I love getting out from behind my screen and flying half-way around the country to meet people. This is one of my biggest passions. I think it’s a great idea to start posting up video responses instead of just plain text. But any way you can get interaction on your blog is good.

I’m really looking forward to your new design. I know it’s gonna kick butt.

  3. This is great! If you’d be interested in doing a small interview for my web 2.0 blog definitely let me know. I’d love to have you sponsored on my blog with a small interview, and it would be great publicity as well. My Blog’s name is Inside the Webb ( http://www.insidethewebb.com/ ), so let me know if you’d be interested!
